Hello, we are Hayley and Lauren

We are a Sydney-based sister-in-law duo passionate about making learning fun and engaging.

Lauren is a speech pathologist with over 12 years of experience in helping children to read and learn through techniques developed with her experience working in schools, with academics and in her PhD studies.
Hayley is a design designer with over 10 years experience and has a deep passion for illustration and typography.

Together, we have joined forces to create a way of teaching kids about the unique sounds that make up their names through pictures using a unique and effective tool known as Embedded Picture Mnemonics.

What are Embedded Picture Mnemonics? They are a memory aid technique where sounds (made up of letters) look like pictures that start with the sounds those letters represent.

Research shows that by embedding the sound into the letters, children will learn letter shapes, letter names and the sounds letters represent more quickly.
